Red Dot is coming to Egoé move
The concentrated and long-term cooperation with the designers from studio 519 who develop products for Egoé move has literally reaped its award: the prestigious international Red Dot. The international jury of experts in the field of product design has bestowed the prize on the set comprised of the slalom skis Egoé Dip SL with the engraving of the brand logotype and the Maggot ski bag.
The designers from studio 519 have endeavoured to give shape to their ideal of functionality and uttermost visual purity. One of the advantages of the slalom skis Dip SL are thicker titanal sheets along the length of the ski, narrower waist and wider tip and tail. The Maggot ski bag is made from textile materials which have long been tested and used by out sister brand Egoé life in the production of outdoor furniture.
Studio 519 is also the author of two more designs acknowledged by the Red Dot Design Award jury. The Red Dot also went to the unique noise barrier noba digi mini (the product of mmcité+) whose sound wave absorption layer is made from used car tyres and which also serves as canvas for creative graphic work, the elements of which are inspired by the aesthetic of digital displays. The third Red Dot Award, this time with the distinction of the Red Dot’s Best of the Best went to the camping car assembly Egoé Nestbox with accessories. The kit can turn a simple van into a full-fledged camping car in a matter of minutes. It provides you with a bed equipped with a comfortable mattress, portable cooker, mobile refrigerator, wash basin with running water and efficiently designed storage space.
This triple success confirms the good quality of Czech product design and the potential our companies have in the international context.
